Hi, my name is Leah! I grew up on a homestead farm in the north and have subsequently been around animals my whole life. I raised bunnies, guinea pigs, and swine for the local 4-H. I’ve cared for kittens, puppies, small and large dogs, horses, and chickens. I am very passionate about animal care and have a wide range of knowledge and experience from my childhood on the farm and in 4-H. I have a flexible schedule and am committed to providing the highest quality care for your pet! I look forward to meeting you and your animal(s) soon. 😊

In my experience, each pet is unique and needs to be treated as such. Thus, as a pet caregiver, I take time to learn the needs and preferences of each animal I care for. If they are easily spooked by other pets, for example, I take the time to choose a walking path where they can enjoy having the path to themselves. In pet sitting, I take the time to thoroughly read all instructions from pet parents to ensure a safe and high quality experience for everyone involved. 🐾

Leah took wonderful care of our dog. We were nervous having never used Rover or having a dog sitter before. Leah is professional, kind and caring. She sent several updates with photos. She is also thorough and reaches out with any questions that come up. The best part was coming home to a very happy and loved dog. It was a huge relief to not have to worry about our pup while we were away. Would highly recommend.

Leah was amazing. Unfortunately due to behavioral issues with our dog we were unable to complete our sit but Leah handled it professionally and respectfully. She has great communication and we highly recommend her to anyone in the area.
Leah was great! She sent tons of updates/pictures, the dogs loved her and she even visited again when our flight was delayed. Above & beyond - we will definitely have her petsit again!
Leah took such great care of my boys again. She found a spot on one of them and brought it to my attention so I could arrange to have a vet look at him - even offered to bring him there herself. Leah is a true gem!
My cats love their visits with Leah. She plays with them and gives them lots of attention and, of course, their treats.
