In my experience, each pet is unique and needs to be treated as such. Thus, as a pet caregiver, I take time to learn the needs and preferences of each animal I care for. If they are easily spooked by other pets, for example, I take the time to choose a walking path where they can enjoy having the path to themselves. In pet sitting, I take the time to thoroughly read all instructions from pet parents to ensure a safe and high quality experience for everyone involved. 🐾

I would love to know if they have any medical issues, safety concerns, behavioral issues, if they have any escape tactics to watch out for, and how they do on walks/if we see another animal while out of the house. I take a lot of pride in providing high quality pet care. I believe in going above and beyond for pets to make sure they’re happy and cared for while their parents are away. Typically, this looks like spending extra time with them, taking longer walks, playing with toys, brushing them, and giving them lots and lots of scratches! :)

Hi, my name is Leah! I grew up on a homestead farm in the north and have subsequently been around animals my whole life. I raised bunnies, guinea pigs, and swine for the local 4-H. I’ve cared for kittens, puppies, small and large dogs, horses, and chickens. I am very passionate about animal care and have a wide range of knowledge and experience from my childhood on the farm and in 4-H. Leah is absolutely fantastic with my dogs. They’re very affectionate and sweet dogs but Leah takes extra time to attend to their neediness. I’d recommend her to anyone that needs their pet let out or get interaction.
Leah took wonderful care of our dog. We were nervous having never used Rover or having a dog sitter before. Leah is professional, kind and caring. She sent several updates with photos. She is also thorough and reaches out with any questions that come up. The best part was coming home to a very happy and loved dog. It was a huge relief to not have to worry about our pup while we were away. Would highly recommend.

Leah was amazing. Unfortunately due to behavioral issues with our dog we were unable to complete our sit but Leah handled it professionally and respectfully. She has great communication and we highly recommend her to anyone in the area.
