Pet care experience
Your Dog’s New Best Friend
I truly treat every dog like my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I have hands-on experience working with both energetic puppies and senior dogs who may need a little extra care and gentleness. I'm confident handling all kinds of temperaments and I’m great at reading a dog’s body language to make sure they feel safe and happy. Whether it's helping with leash training, administering medications, or just offering extra cuddles and slow walks for older pups, I go above and beyond to give them the comfort and care they deserve. I also love sending regular photo updates, so pet parents always feel connected and reassured.

Ratings and reviews
Leah took great care of our border collie who has a lot of energy, she exercised her daily and sent us photos and videos which was so nice to see. Leah is very communicative, kind and caring. We would be happy to book with Leah again!

Leah was wonderful with Ruby. This was Ruby’s first Petsitting. Ruby is only 5 months old and still learning to walk in the leash and stay with someone new. Leah made sure Ruby was well cared for and was safe. They took 2 walks, went potty and played with her puppy toys. I feel confident leaving my puppy with Leah. We will definitely use Leah for petsitting in the future.

Took great care of my Nala girl. She was super flexible with pick up and drop off also!

Leah was amazing with my pet! She provided excellent care, kept me updated with photos, and made sure my pet was comfortable and happy the whole time. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in great hands. Highly recommend!

Schedule
As a CNA who recently moved from the Bay Area, caring for others—both people and pets—is in my nature. I’ve always had a special bond with animals and miss having my own dog around, so pet care is something that genuinely brings me joy and comfort. Right now, I work morning shifts, which makes me available in the midday and evenings—perfect for walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. My schedule allows me to give pets the attention they need before or after work hours, and I’m always happy to start or end my day with some tail wags and fresh air.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—meals, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest—because consistency helps pets feel at ease, especially when they’re away from their owners. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I take the time to bond with each pet, giving them one-on-one attention, lots of affection, and calm, reassuring energy. If I’m watching them in my home, I make sure the environment is pet-friendly, peaceful, and free of any hazards, with plenty of cozy spots to relax. I’m also attentive to any special needs like medication, senior support, or puppy training. Clear communication with pet parents is key—I always give updates, photos, and stay available for any questions or instructions.
A typical day
A typical day starts with morning snuggles and a potty break, followed by a nice walk to get some fresh air and burn off energy. After breakfast, we usually have some playtime—whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or chasing toys around the house. If your pet enjoys mental stimulation, I love using treat puzzles or working on commands with positive reinforcement. Midday is perfect for a second walk or a little sunbathing session if the weather’s nice. I make sure your pet stays hydrated, happy, and relaxed. In the afternoon, it’s usually chill time—ideal for naps, cuddles, or just hanging out together. In the evening, we’ll do another walk or play session before dinner, followed by a calming routine to wind down. I always keep their schedule, feeding times, and routines consistent with what they’re used to—because your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priority. And of course, you’ll get plenty of cute photo and video updates throughout the day!
