I have two fur babies of my own and I take safety very seriously. If they are staying at my home they are always under my care and watch. We have a fenced in yard and live on a quiet street. I’m always hyper aware that this is not just an animal but a family member, and I take that very seriously. I want to cultivate a local community of animals lovers for me to serve. I’m in the NoDa/villa Heights/shamrock/plaza-midwood area and I would love to get repeat customers in that region so I can remain available and local.

General temperament. Any special quirks or likes and dislikes. Also the level of energy. I’m a runner and happy to run around the neighborhood if they are up for it ! (And it’s not 150 degrees out ) :)
A typical day
I love walking around NoDa and villa heights, especially the neighborhoods. I sometimes visit cafes so if your dog is social butterfly we can always grab a coffee at smelly cats (just don’t mention the cat part)

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Georgia so animals have been my life for some time. We had German shepherds and cats growing up! So experience with both. I love love animals of all types and I’m hoping to translate that into a thriving local business (teaching doesn’t make us millionaires sadly!! :) ) I want to focus on the north Charlotte area so people can get to know me (I own a home in villa heights). Hope to cultivate a community of animals lovers that I can serve most days of the week!

Leah is fantastic! Great updates provided and excellent care to my kitties.
Have used Leah many times over the last couple of years to check on our cat when we are out of town. She is easy to communicate with and totally understands the quirks of cats, lol. Will continue to book her and recommend to anyone needing a sitter. We always come home to a happy and well cared for baby.
