Thanks Leah for taking such good care of Charlie! He seems to have enjoyed your company. I appreciate your offer of an extra visit after he threw up and also that you cleaned it up. Lol! I’ll be I touch again.

Leah is a wonderful animal lover and enjoys been around all kinds of animals. I noticed this started early when she would go read to dogs and how the animals would just look at her it a very calm way. Growing up she took care of many animals from dogs to cats and hamsters. This true love of animals flowed over into helping and a veterinary and then working at a very large boarding club for dogs where she really enjoys spending time with them. She would always come home with great stories about how the dogs were always happy to see her. Caring for animals is in her heart and always will be. She is very qualified to take care of anyones pet and I know the animals would love seeing her.

Leah is a great pet caregiver and a true animal lover! She has helped me take care of my 2 dogs and 1 cat for several years. She is smart, responsible, resourceful and really pays attention to the animals and what they want/need. She finds the unique "personality" of each animal and adapts her interactions to fit them--young, old, etc. She also has a lot of knowledge regarding animal care from working both at a vet clinic and a doggie daycare/long term stay. (For example, she is in charge of cutting my 3 animals' nails and is better than me at getting them to take meds!.) She actually did "apprentice" training for several weeks (including getting "checked off" on competency with various skills in managing dogs' needs singly and in groups.) Since her duties at doggie day care included caring for dogs in rather large groups, she is more than qualified to take care of an individual family's pets. I absolutely would trust Leah to care for anyone's animals as if they were her own.

Any four-legged critter would be lucky to have Leah! Leah has been around large and small animals her entire life, literally from hamsters to horses. She has experience working with veterinary and boarding facilities, requiring management of special needs dogs as well as complicated group play dynamics. She personally has dogs and a cat, and continues to enjoy riding horses. Small but powerful, Leah is the "real deal" if you're looking for someone knowledgeable and caring to be with your fur babies when you can't.

Before watching any pet, I’d want to know: • Their routine: Feeding schedule, bathroom breaks, exercise needs, and sleep habits. • Temperament & personality: Are they shy, energetic, cuddly, or independent? • Medical needs: Any medications, allergies, or special care instructions. • Favorite & least favorite things: Toys, treats, activities, or anything they dislike (like loud noises or certain handling). • Training & rules: Commands they know, leash behavior, and household rules (e.g., allowed on furniture or not). • Emergency contacts: Vet info and owner’s preferred way to be reached.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass an identity verification. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
