A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks either in parks or in neighborhoods. If a dog is not used to or a fan of walking, I have a number of toys that I use to get their energy out in the home or yard. I also love to play with an energetic cat.

My background in ecology and animal biology means I’m especially attentive to behavior, stress signals, and overall health. I've known Leah for several years now, and throughout that entire period she's been a loving and diligent pet-owner and caretaker. I've personally witnessed her go to great lengths to care for her own dog Bruno (an adorable lab-beagle mix) from the time she took him in as a stray puppy to now in his more senior years, throughout sickness and good health. Additionally, I've seen her connect and be trusted by many friends' dogs and be a responsible caregiver to them.
