I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and various animals since I was 13 years of age. A lot of the dogs I watched were older, and therefore required a lot more care, time, and attention (which I absolutely love giving!). On top of that, I also have watched a lot of dogs that require more energy, like puppies that are more active or dog breeds that require more walking. I grew up with a black lab who always loved hiking (we usually hiked 10 miles a day for her needs), so if you have an active dog, I can most definitely make sure they get their activity in! In addition to pet sitting dogs, I have also pet sat many cats. Growing up, my family often fostered kitties, so I have experience with a wide age range of cats. In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I’m extremely detail-oriented and treat every pet’s routine like it matters. I follow feeding, walk, and medication instructions carefully, and I always keep an eye out for changes in behavior, appetite, or energy. I also love sending photo updates so you can feel totally at ease while you’re away. Whether your pet is outgoing or shy, I’m patient and calm and let them warm up at their own pace.
