Animal care qualified and kennel experience
I have had dogs my whole life as well as an array of different animals such as chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles and goats. I completed an apprenticeship in animal care after sixth form, before going to university. This gave me experience and knowledge in care for all different types of domestic and farm animals. After university, I gained more experience with both dogs and cats when working at kennels where I cared for, walked, fed and cleaned the animals. This also meant I gained a lot of first hand experience with dogs and cats and learnt about their behaviours. I’ve always had a passion for animals and would love to meet and care for more pets.

Would definitely recommend Leah. This was Arlo’s first stay over at someone else’s house. Leah met Arlo prior to him staying and messaged and sent pictures to keep us updated on how he was doing. It was definitely a home from home experience for Arlo! Thanks Leah (and Indie)
My terrier had a LOVELY time with Leah. I think she liked it better than being at home!! I would highly recommend Leah.

Schedule
I currently work full time but work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, meaning I’d have plenty of time to care for any pets that were staying with me. I also have an hour lunch on my days from home meaning I can do plenty of walking on my lunch and after work. The days when I don’t work from home, I am usually home around 6pm so would be available for walks after then if needed. My weekends are usually free so would love to have a pet or two to care for. We do have our own little cocker, Indie, who is super friendly and loves having someone to play with over the weekend. She is crate trained so can be separated for a while if they need a chill out.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden to provide outdoor space for pets. If crates are needed, there is plenty of space in the house for this. I can also provide walks before and after work as well as on my lunch break, so pets can have as much exercise as they require. There’s also a space on the sofa for plenty of cuddles.

A typical day
During the day, we’ll have plenty of time for walks and games so make sure to pack your pets favourite toys! I am also more than happy to do some training if required.
