Safety, trust & environment

🐾 Calm, Clean, and Focused Care We intentionally limit how many dogs we care for at once — usually no more than 2 or 3 — to ensure each pup gets the attention, love, and space they deserve. Unlike high-volume sitters, we don’t “stack” crates or crowd dogs together. Your pet will enjoy our clean, spacious, calm home with full access to our fenced yard and daily interaction with our loving family. 🐾 Crate Use Policy To help your pup feel safe and secure during their stay, we recommend that you bring your own crate—especially if your dog is already crate-trained or has a routine they’re used to at home. Familiar smells and structure can really ease the transition. If absolutely needed, we do have clean, appropriately sized crates available for use. However, in our experience, dogs tend to settle in better when they sleep in their own crate. Crates are typically used: Overnight (for safety and structure) Brief periods during the day when unsupervised To give each dog personal downtime if needed We aim to make your dog’s stay calm, comfortable, and stress-free—thank you for helping us do that by bringing what your dog knows and loves!

Information Leah & Marcus W. would like to know about your pet

We do use kennels at night and during short periods when unsupervised. For that reason, we ask that all dogs be crate-trained or at least crate-tolerant. We also require all Dog's bring their own Crate. It’s helpful to know if your pet has any quirks, sensitivities, or anxieties—like fear of loud noises, separation stress, or leash reactivity. Please let me know about any health issues, medications, allergies, potty routines, crate habits, or if your dog is unspayed/neutered. I also appreciate knowing how your dog does around other dogs and kids, so I can make their stay as comfortable and safe as possible!

A typical day

Pets in our care will enjoy tons of supervised outdoor playtime in our large, fenced-in yard—with plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore! We love playing fetch, offering enrichment toys, and giving calm cuddle time when it’s time to rest. We also take dogs on walks around our peaceful 3-acre property and keep them mentally stimulated with gentle training, interaction, and attention from our whole family. Whether your pup is high-energy or prefers quiet snuggles, we tailor the fun to their needs!

Pet care experience

We’re a dog-loving family with 20+ years of hands-on pet care experience. We currently have a sweet English Bulldog named Sugar, and over the years we’ve raised and cared for a variety of breeds—including American Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Great Danes, and a Cavapoo. I’ve also been a responsible breeder periodically over the past two decades, so I understand the importance of safety, structure, cleanliness, and lots of love. Whether your dog is playful or laid-back, I’ll make sure they feel at home and well cared for in a calm, spacious environment.

Leah and Marcus were absolutely amazing! We were feeling nervous with leaving our puppy for the first time while we were on our trip, but they were super great at communicating with us and can tell Moose had a great time! They have an incredible family that was very loving and gave our dog lot of attention/play time! We will definitely be using them in the future!

I knew as soon as I arrived my dog Maverick was gonna get so much love and play in the next 2 days! I honestly felt a little guilty picking him up Haha! Seriously though, Marcus and Leah and their sweet family loved and cared for Maverick like he was their own! I’m sure he fell in love with them as well and I can tell he misses them! I will definitely send Maverick back the next chance I get! Heck I might just send him back so he can have a play day and I can focus on getting things done around the house sometimes! Thanks Marcus & Leah & Family!

Leah and Marcus were great! Very communicative, provided updates with pictures/videos, and most of all took great care of Juno. Will definitely be booking again.

Leah and her family were absolutely incredible! From the moment I dropped my dog off, I felt completely at ease. Their beautiful property gave my pup plenty of room to play, and our pup has a great new play date with Sugar. Communication was fantastic! We’ll be booking again!
