Farm girl. . . need I say more? 🙃
I LOVE animals! I grew up on a farm in Arizona surrounded by dogs, chickens, cows, hamsters, and even a few ferrets and a snake! I adopted my own fur baby (an almost three year old lab, Pyrenees, Newfoundland mix🥰) a few years ago, and we are excited to be helping y’all out with your pets! I’m currently not working besides taking care of pets on Rover, so my availability is pretty open and flexible. In very few instances, I may need to request a slight changing in time frame to accommodate for my two kiddos under two (fun times! 😂 ). All things considering, life as a stay at home mom allows me to be most available for doggy day care and boardings, but if you’re fine with my sister tagging along to help with my away-from-home sittings, I can sit your house for you as well (overnights most of the time for me are a no-go, but I’m a night owl/early bird so I can come and leave early/late, and my sister is able to spend overnights as well if needed throughout most of the week. But you never know so please feel free to talk to me and we can see if we can work something out 😊). If you’re considering boarding/doggy day care, I just moved into my first house with a backyard and a dog park within walking distance! I would be able to provide your pups with ample exercise, and both my kiddos and my pup LOVE to play and get along well with other pets. We are also conveniently located only ten minutes from the airport, so you can drop them off on your way to vacation and pick them up without going too far out of your way on your way home! I have experience with most breeds, ages, and needs of dogs, and while I’m not trained in any type of CPR/first aid (nor have I ever needed to use it), I have the head knowledge. While that may be a certification goal in the future, for now I’m focusing on completing classes to be able to be credentialed as a dog trainer (with dog grooming, certification to be pursued shortly after! Look out for huge discounts as a return Rover customer 😉) Don’t hesitate to ask any questions! Great family what I like most is that they work as a team to take care of Cody. Great communication, spacious area, very kind to the dogs. I can say Leah is about her business every time I came by she had a dog there so that lets me know that she is well trusted with animals. I want to thank Mara for taken care of Cody cause he can be a handful because he wants all of the attention, and he is scared of other dogs, she sent pictures and responded to my text messages at timely manner. She told me some things that I didn’t realize about my dog while he was there. There young children are fearless with dogs so that was great to see the kids interact without being scared. I will be sending my Cody back to this family if they will welcome him again. Highly recommend this family.
Our dog, Toby, has a great time and came home tired! Leah, Mara, and Sydnie were so kind and responsive. Highly recommend them!!
Leah and Mara both worked hard to make sure our pups were taken care of while out of the country the last 9 days! We received multiple photos/videos and there was good communication. The girls all came back tired but happy.

Let me just say that they are amazing. They took very good care of my dog and as a dog parent who it is her first time leaving her baby with somebody other than family she was very responsive to my text messages and sending pictures and videos and reassuring me I truly appreciate it. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Schedule
As I said, this is my only source of income, so I can cater to the needs of your pet right along with my own with practically nothing to stand in the way! I treat Rover as a job (with my kiddos being my priority, of course). Because of that, whatever your daily routines and habits are with your pets, I try my hardest to implement, so there are as few life changes as possible for your pets to help them settle into their new environment.

I treat your pet like my own (yes, they even sleep in my bed sometimes 😂), and I honestly take even more care over yours to ensure the best experience all around. This means leashing them EVERY TIME we go outside and BEFORE any doors are opened, giving them space if needed and around other dogs, etc. I know how to read animal body language, so that makes it easier to assess a situation before it gets stressful. If I’m sitting at your house, my sister and I always make sure to leave your home looking better than when we arrived to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible returning home from your trip. We understand how important your space is!

A typical day
I love walking dogs as it provides the opportunity for both of us to explore new places! My youngest loves to play with pets, so between my kids, myself and my own pup we all will play with your dog until everyone is tired, or just snuggle your pup if that’s all they need! I have plenty of toys and enriching activities on hand and that I purchase regularly to keep everyone occupied, and you’re more than welcome to bring your own as well. Our house is never boring! 😂
