I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have always loved being around them. Whenever my parents were away, I was responsible for walking, feeding, and playing with our dogs, so taking care of them has always been a normal part of my life. I also have a cat of my own, so I understand the responsibilities that come with caring for cats and making sure they are fed, comfortable, and getting the attention they need. I also understand that some pets experience separation anxiety when their owners are away. I’m thoughtful and attentive to animal body language and pay close attention to changes in their behavior, energy, and comfort level. I try to meet animals where they are rather than forcing interaction, especially when they are nervous or anxious. I’m patient and willing to give pets the time and space they need to feel comfortable with me. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, cared for, and as comfortable as possible while their parents are away.

I have a large house in a very safe neighborhood. My home is already safe for pets due to having a cat living with me. My cat is extremely kind and gentle. I live in a quiet, residential neighborhood on a safe and not busy street. However, I would not let any pet off leash due to the unknown risk.

Leah M. is an absolute fantastic hire, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! My two boys adore her, she is amazing. I rarely travel without my dogs. Ninety nine times out of one hundred, I will just stay home if I cannot find reasonable accommodations for me and Simon and Louie. But with my father’s sudden and unexpected passing, I was unable to bring the boys with me each time on the many trips back home. I was so nervous looking for a dog sitter, my boys are covid rescues and we all suffer from a little separation anxiety. This is where Leah steps in and from the start I could tell they would be in very safe and loving hands. The boys instantly warmed up to her which says so much about her heart and character. She took excellent care of the boys and followed my care instructions. The boys always looked so healthy when I would return. You just know when your baby was treated right, right? I cannot thank Leah enough for providing such excellent care of my boys for me. She is such a saint, I feel more comfortable traveling without the boys if the need arises knowing I can trust Leah to take care of them.
would strongly recommend Leah to watch you dog! my dog Bandit can be a lot to handle and needs a lot of attention and walks, and she can get really stressed when i’m not around. when Leah watches her she eats all her food (which she usually doesn’t when i’m away!!) and i can feel relaxed when i’m on a trip knowing Bandit is getting lots of love <3 your dog would be in great hands with Leah!!!
Leah is an incredible pet owner and sitter. She has watched my dog, Ted, numerous times, and is always so attentive, caring, conscientious, and brings great energy. I trust her to be an amazing pet sitter for anyone out there!
Leah is great with both dogs and cats! She regularly cared for my cat baby for a few years and treated him like he was her own. Shes very trustworthy and reliable and some may even say she’s an animal whisperer.
I have left my cat, Junie, in Leah’s care several times. She is a caring, responsible pet sitter. She keeps me posted on how he is doing, and lets me know how much fun he’s having getting his pets. she is a cat owner herself, and the love she has for her own cat is prevalent in how she speaks about her.

Schedule
Since I have a cat of my own, pet care is always on my mind. I am used to constantly thing of how to make life better for my own animal, and keeping her healthy and fed. I work 8 hours 3 days a week, which makes it easy to fit in pet care either before or after work, or during my days off. Additionally, I have a safe and reliable car to take me anywhere in the city which makes caring for your pet more accessible.
