I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, and I started dog walking and pet sitting while I was in grad school at Columbia. What was supposed to be a way to make some extra money quickly turned into one of the most rewarding parts of my week. I was lucky enough to have many the same clients for two years, and I became genuinely close with their pets and families. One of those families changed my life: when their owner could no longer care for his pets, I adopted his two senior cats, Olive and David. They now live with fiancé and I in Brooklyn and are an absolute joy. I’m excited to be back on Rover because I missed being part of the pet community I had on the UWS. Whether it’s a long walk in Prospect Park, a weekend away, or a quick cat drop-in, I’ll care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine, with patience, reliability, and lots of affection.

Leah is terrific. She is not only a bright, responsible, lovely young woman, she took terrific care of Romeo, who is not the easiest, as I just rescued him and training is in progress. She also left my home exactly how she found it. I was concerned I would come home to a disaster but she was great. I was also worried about leaving him, as I only rescued him in August and he is in training now to become better acclimated with new people, less separation anxiety and better behaved generally. She stuck with all he new rules for training, and took terrific care of everything. I would not hesitate to use Leah for any pet care needs, including staying overnight in your home and I would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering hiring Leah.
Léah was a great overnight sitter for our puppy! She was easy to schedule with, bonded with our pup quickly, provided updates, and we came back to our apartment just the way we left it. I am happy to have the peace of mind that our pup is in good hands while we are away :)
Leah is an absolute joy of a dog sitter. Her and my dog Holly truly have developed a special bond, and Leah is very attentive to her needs and quirks! Leah spent the better part of a year watching and walking Holly, and if it weren’t for the fact that we moved she would still be! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leah to any pet owner, large or small. Holly will miss you Leah!
Leah is a close friend and has taken care of my cat Beatrix on multiple occasions. She is trustworthy in my space and a wonderful with pets. My cat Bea loves to hangout, snuggle, and play with Léah. I never worry about going out of town if I know Leah is pet sitting!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time and can walk or care for your dogs throughout the week. My schedule is very flexible and I’m happy to accommodate yours or your pets needs.
