Hey! My name is Leah and I am a proud mama to my two fur babies. I understand how difficult it can be to trust others with your fur baby, and I will work to make sure you and your pet are both comfortable and confident! I volunteered at Oakville humane society for many years growing up and have always been around different types of animals. Over the past 3 years, I volunteered with Frontline K9 manitoba and did many missions (spay/neuter clinics, vaccine clinics, basic health needs, apprehensions/rescues). Given her history, Dakota is dog reactive/aggressive. I have attended extensive training programs and have been able to work with her.

Leah has received extensive training with dog behaviour specialists. She has experience with puppies and reactive dogs, and has volunteered for several dog rescues. Leah is very knowledgeable, patient and kind when dealing with dogs but knows how to be assertive when necessary
Leah is amazing with pets! She is absolutely dedicated to caring for pets, training, teaching and patience. I trust her more than anyone with my dogs, she always does a fabulous job and my dogs adore her. She is great with taking my fur babies for walks, to play, for training skills and overall enrichment. She is so responsible, attentive and reliable for all pet needs. I have known Leah to be a compassionate pet lover for many years and there is no one I would recommend more than her!
I have been friends with Leah for over 10 years and her love for animals has always been so endearing! Whether it is her own fur babies or those of others, Leah’s passion for caring for others shines through in the way she loves and cares for every person and animal she meets. Leah is such an incredible dog mom who devotes all of her spare time and energy to her two little fur babies; Making sure they live the best, healthiest, and full, fun life. I’ve watched her raise two incredible dogs who are very well behaved, fun-loving, and personable. She has always had a special thing for animals and is extremely responsible with taking care of them which makes her someone I would trust 100% with anything or anyone that means a lot me! Leah is a caregiver to her core and will take amazing care of your pets while treating them like her own!

Flexible remote work schedule in social work and k9 training. Schedule can vary however I can accommodate whenever I am able! Thank you and talk soon!

Pets
A typical day
We start our day with fresh air and tail wags — long walks, fetch, mental stimulation games or sniffing adventures around the neighborhood. I love keeping dogs active and engaged, but also make time for quiet breaks, belly rubs, and naps. Each dog’s day is customized to their energy level and favorite things! Training - placement, crate, loose leash walking, recall, reactivity and other unwanted behaviours are a separate service.
