Both me and my partner Ben work from home so are available all day. Our cocker spaniel Louis is a neutered small 12kg dog who is extremely friendly and loves a pal to roll around with.

We have a secure enclosed back garden with lawn and decking. Inside the house downstairs is dog friendly with pooches more than welcome to snuggle on the sofa. We don’t allow dogs on the bed upstairs so dogs with their own beds/crates is preferable. Usual schedule is a 10 min walk first thing followed by a 45-60 min walk at lunchtime and evening though this can be tailored if necessary. I tend to do morning and lunchtime walks in the local area but then venture further in the evening for something a bit different. This again can be tailored depending on your dogs car preferences. I do ask that you bring your dogs bowl, food, poo bags, lead and any toys that would make them feel at home.

A typical day
Through the day your dog will get walks, play with toys, have the ball thrown and get lots of love and attention. They can snooze inside on the sofa of outside with the patio doors wide open for them when the weather permits for any moments of downtime.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have my very own 5 year old working cocker spaniel. Love going for long dog walks and cuddles in-front of the tv.
Reviews
Our 11 yr old lurcher stayed with Leah for two weeks whilst we were out of the country. She has only stayed with family before but she settled quickly and spent a very happy time with Leah. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leah to anyone.

Wolfie very happy as per usual and as are we! Thanks again.

Joey loves going to Leah’s and playing with Louis

Albert absolutely loved being with Leah and her partner! The first time I met them both, I knew they’d be the perfect fit to look after him: friendly, accommodating and they clearly both love dogs. They were also brilliant at communicating with me, sending regular updates and photos. I’m not sure Albert wanted to come home, ha! I’ll definitely be using Leah in the future! Thank you ☺️
