With experience owning two dogs and two years of helping breeders raise puppies, I’m a self-proclaimed dog lover who genuinely enjoys caring for pups of all personalities. My priority is always making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable. My partner and I live together in a spacious flat with a fenced garden and no pets of our own. I work from home part-time, while my partner works from home full-time, so there will always be someone around to give your pup plenty of care and attention throughout the day. I also have experience caring for dogs who aren’t comfortable around other dogs, including managing walks and creating a calm, safe environment at home. Being right next to Holyrood, we’re perfectly located for walks, playtime and plenty of outdoor adventures!

Leah has a deep love for animals and a natural, calm way with them. As a teenager, she was hired by a neighbor who occasionally bred their dog and was paid to care for two full litters of puppies. Her responsibilities included daily feeding, cleaning, monitoring the puppies’ health and development, handling them gently and consistently, and reporting any concerns promptly. Leah is consistently responsible, thoughtful, and punctual. She shows up on time, follows instructions carefully, notices small details about an animal’s behavior or needs, and treats both the pets and the home with care and respect.
Leah is dedicated to creating a safe and happy environment for all dogs. Her deep love of dogs makes her a great carer, ready to bring adventures, joy, and love to your pet, while being incredibly responsible for their wellbeing. In the time that I've known her, I know that she has loved and cared for a dog of her own and has been committed to making her home welcoming and safe for all dogs.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily routine as I’m home most days, and my partner also works from home. This means there will always be someone around to give your pet plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day.

I have a large, fully fenced garden and a spacious home where dogs have plenty of room to safely explore, relax, and make themselves comfortable. I’m also close to great walking spots and love taking dogs out for walks, as well as playing fetch, frisbee, and other games, especially for energetic pups! I’m happy to tailor care to each dog’s personality and needs. If they enjoy socialising, I’m also happy to bring them along to dog-friendly places such as pubs or outdoor gatherings. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me.
A typical day
Every day will be tailored to the pet’s routine and personality. I’ll make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, attention and time to explore my large, secure garden and home. For energetic dogs, I love playing fetch or frisbee and taking longer walks to the park. If they enjoy socialising, I’m also happy to bring them along to dog-friendly places, such as a pub, where appropriate.
