In your home, I ensure all care items are used according to the owners instructions and put away correctly at the end. I double check that all doors are locked and any lights that were needed while taking care of the animals are turned off when I’m done. If you need mail or packages brought inside, I’m happy to do that too. I also ensure any pet messes get cleaned up and everything is how you left it.

It is helpful to me to know if your dog is aggressive or barks a lot as I do have neighbors in my apartment and I do not wish to disturb them. Also knowing if they are house trained, crate trained, or have any training is helpful in order for me to know the kind of management they will need. Also knowing any allergies, medicines, habits, food sensitivity or pickiness is very helpful to me. The same goes for any cat care. I like to know as much as I can to be sure your pet is given the best possible care!
A typical day
I have a fenced private dog park in my apartment complex where they can play off lead. I also have balls and toys they can enjoy, although if they have their own toys, we will play with those! If you need cat care, I have extensive cat care experience and love to visit with them and give them lots of a attention.

I started using Rover when I first moved from Alabama to Georgia to continue working in the film and entertainment industry and found so many good people on here to help me with my cats! I noticed that there were fewer cat care services available, though, so I wanted to offer feline specific services to those who need it. I have over 25 years of cat and dog care knowledge, growing up helping my family rescue stray animals, nurse kittens, administer medicine to elderly animals, and care for multiple rescue cats and dogs in our own home. I have especially worked with cats over the years, cat sitting for many friends and family members and rescuing several on my own while in college, including the adorable kitties I now call my best fur-buddies. I love caring for cats and understand their moods and body language, and will give them lots of playtime and snuggles if that's what they want or just sit quietly and keep them company if they are feeling anxious. I want to give you peace of mind knowing your cats are in good hands! I can administer medicine, help animals with special needs or care requirements, special diets, whatever you need. I also have many years of experience working with dogs! I grew up with a A Schipperke mix, Jack Russell mix, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and my family currently has a German Shepherd. Because of their varied breed temperaments, I became very comfortable dealing with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I worked with my dogs growing up, training them and having them compete in the Canine Good Citizenship Competition, where they placed best in show. Although I currently don't own a dog, I help my friends and family with their dogs whenever I can and even work with a dog at my current day job. Like the cats, I am very familiar with dog body language and behavior and will always give them the playtime, attention, exercise, and love they need! I currently have flexible availability. I look forward to helping you with your furry family members!

My 1st time doing this and she make it really fast, be nice and and my dog look very happy.
Leah is amazing!! My dog is getting older and has a very small circle. He is extremely complicated and quirky (has a past history of abuse). She came and visited him and was very patient and loving. He only connects with me and she still put time in to try and make him comfortable. You can tell she’s an animal lover and I appreciate her coming to visit my baby. I highly recommend her!!
