Pet care experience

Your Dog’s New Favorite Outdoor Bud

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have provided loving, committed homes to dogs of all temperaments as an adult — from an animal-aggressive Akita to the sweetest Golden Lab. I understand that every dog is different and deserves care that meets their unique needs. I’ve volunteered as a dog walker with the Kitsap Humane Society and have taken our most recent rescue through both beginner and advanced training classes. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, reading canine body language, and providing calm, consistent care. Friends regularly trust me with their pets while they’re away, and as a dog owner who has also used Rover myself, I truly understand how important communication, reliability, and trust are when someone is caring for your fur baby. When we’re not out enjoying nature together, I’m usually at home or the library with a good book — or planning our next travel adventure.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your space and your pet with the utmost respect. I’m tidy, mindful, and attentive to routines, instructions, and any specific care needs. I prioritize safety by following established guidelines, maintaining a calm environment, and paying close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates so you can feel confident your pet and home are in good hands.

FANTASTIC with the grand pup! So nice to have someone to trust for times the whole family gets away. Leah shared daily photos and check ins. She was very interactive and he clearly felt comfortable with her. Will absolutely book again!

We were so lucky to find Leah. Exceptionally trust worthy and gave my Leo the best love and care! Frenchie’s need special care and anxiety support when we travel and Leo was so chilled when we returned!

When I win the lottery, I would like Leah to adult for me. She has great client service, high integrity and a genuine soft spot for all canine fur babies. She reads dogs well, keeping herself and your dog safe. Your dog wants to spend time with Leah.

I can’t recommend leah enough! leah is incredibly reliable and genuinely cares for my dog like she is her own. Ripley LOVES seeing leah and I know that whenever my dog is with leah I don't need to worry. leah is great at providing updates and asking questions if she is unsure about anything. I would absolutely book with her again. she is worth the premium 💰

Schedule

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I currently hold a substitute position with the Kitsap Regional Library, which gives me an extremely flexible schedule and allows me to prioritize pet care needs. I don’t have dependents, have a reliable vehicle, and can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, or extended care. Any personal travel is planned well in advance, so availability is always communicated clearly.
