I work a full time job throughout the week, Monday- Friday I am working 8 hours away from my home. I have a 3 year old German Shepherd who is very active, but she stays at home sleeping most of the day waiting for me to come home. She has a crate, but free roams now that she’s old enough. I am free most weekends and could do a drop in visit/dog walking if it was before or after work throughout the week. *Note: if looking into boarding with me, please notice I am not at home during the work day and if your animal cannot be trusted to be left out during the day, they will have to be crated until I get home *

I have a backyard that is fenced in and I live right by Brookside Park and right by Pogues Run trail where I can take them on walks. I always stay outside with them in my yard and they are always supervised by me. My neighbors are great and love to say hi to the dogs I get to care for! *Due to a recent incident I had with a client’s dog, I will require meet and greets prior to any 1st booking I have with your animal to ensure my safety as well as your pet’s.*

Let me know if your dog has any certain behaviors or habits that are crucial for their care. If they are timid around other dogs, aggressive around other people, or have any training that would be helpful to know! If there has been any prior aggression your animal has shown to a new person, please let me know ahead of time as I just had my first accident and got injured taking care of someone’s dog who wasn’t ready for someone new in his environment.

I love to take dogs for long walks! Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do if the dog is interested. In the summer I like to hook up my splash pad and have a pool for the dogs to play in. I live right by Brookside Park and love to take dogs there to walk and hangout.

I’ve had a lot of experience in dog sitting/dog walking. I’ve been on Rover since 2022 and have had great experiences with my clients. Before Rover, I would look after dogs/houses for up to a week in high school and college. I have a 3 year old female German Shepherd that I love very much. She gets along with most types of dogs, but LOVES to play when I board pets (if your dog is timid or reactive to playfulness, I’m probably not the best host for your dog!) I will watch 1-2 dogs (depending on the dog) at a time plus my own dog. I follow directions very well as each dog’s needs are different and I make sure they are well taken care of. I love to go on long walks with dogs, give yummy treats, and play fetch in the backyard.

Leah has been absolutely amazing to work with. She is extremely responsive and also takes the best care of your pets. Our dog is always ecstatic when she comes to care for him when we are out of town. Can’t recommend Leah enough!
I loved having Leah watch my pups!! I left both my 2 yr old husky mix and my 6 month old pit mix pup with Leah for a whole week and she was amazing! She sent a lot of updates and made sure to notify us if anything obscure happened. She is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors and was very cautious when introducing situations that may be triggering for some dogs (ie: Food, toys etc.). I highly recommend booking with Leah as she will love your pups as her own!
