Because I homeschool, most days I am home and able to attend to dog or puppy care. Our two year old Aussie loves to play with other dogs and has earned his CGC-A. Backyard play or leash walking would be part of your pets care. On occasion we may go to a park and our dog often accompanies us.

I enjoy walking dogs, working on manners, leash walking at a heel and basic commands. You could expect your dog to have opportunities to play fetch, exploring my giant backyard and playing with my Aussie who enjoys tug, wrestle, keep away and basic canine companionship. Indoors I keep a variety of chew objects to satisfy dogs who like to chew. Indoors, your dog could expect lots of space to lay around and stay cool in the hot weather and their own crate to retreat to as needed.

I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life. I've taken different obedience courses over the years and most recently am working on Rally Obedience with my aussie. My family, which includes my husband and two teenage daughters love dogs of all sizes and ages. I’ve got a very large fenced in back yard, a fun loving Aussie, and am home most of the time to give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I have recent experience in dog obedience and have house-trained puppies. I love to walk dogs and give them lots of attention.

My dog really enjoyed getting to run and play with Leah’s dog during his stay. We will definitely use her again!
Wow, can not say enough about Leah and her family! So professional and knowledgeable, gave me updates, and photos! Their dog was bigger than our puppy and they were very professional keeping them separated most of the time but let them have a little play together time after draining the bigger dog energy a bit, which again, just speaks to how well they know dog behavior! Absolutely 💯 will utilize Leah again in the future for pup sitting!
We had an amazing experience with Leah and her family! Their home and land is perfect for dogs to run and play and their dog Bear is a great playmate. She took lots of pictures and communicated frequently so we had no questions or worries as to how our dog was doing while. 10/10 would recommend and we will be using her again!
My chocolate lab, Otis, recently stayed with Leah and her family for eight days. He had a wonderful time playing with Leah’s dog, Bear, in a large fenced in backyard. He also had a private spot to curl up in when he needed some solitude. Leah kept me up-to-date with text messages and pictures so I could see that he was in good spirits. Leah and her family took amazing care of Otis. I will always choose her “home away from home” over a kennel in the future.
