Caring for others has always been at the heart of my life. I work casually as a care aid in healthcare, and caring for animals has been a constant alongside that for over 20 years. From cats and dogs to horses, I’ve loved being the person people can rely on when they need someone trustworthy and compassionate. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Whether it’s keeping up with a playful pup, providing comfort to a senior cat, or just making sure your pets feel safe and loved, I treat every animal as if they were my own.

Animals have always been a part of my life. I started caring for pets when I was 12, and what began as helping neighbors quickly grew into over 20 years of experience with cats, dogs, and even horses. From playful puppies to senior pets, I’ve seen it all and I know how to meet each animal where they’re at. I believe pets deserve more than just “care” — they deserve comfort, companionship, and someone who truly understands them. Whether that means long walks, gentle grooming, or just extra snuggles, I make sure every pet feels loved and safe while their people are away. You can relax knowing your pets will be treated like family, because to me, that’s exactly what they are. 🐾

Leah was an absolute lifesaver during a very difficult time for our family. She went above and beyond from the very beginning, making time to meet us, our dogs, chickens and ducks beforehand and accommodating a last-minute booking with less than 24 hours’ notice. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire experience. Her pre-booking contact was thorough and reassuring, and she kept us updated while we were away, giving us complete peace of mind. Most importantly, Leah genuinely prioritized our dogs’ needs. They are loving but reactive dogs and can be demanding to care for, yet she handled them with patience, understanding, and confidence. She took them on adventures, ensured they were well cared for, and treated them as if they were her own. We could not be happier with the experience. While Leah may be at the higher end of the price range, she is worth every penny for the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind she provides. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet and house care. Especially more demanding or special need scenarios. Leah was fantastic! Luna is an anxious pup so we were nervous at first - but Leah was all around great! Luna clearly felt comfortable with her which made us feel comfortable too. Will definitely be booking her again!
