I have seven years of experience with small dogs! For five years I house-sat a toy poodle for weeks at a time, and I had my own mini schnoodle for seven years. I have three years of experience with big dogs! I did a daycare service for Rhodesian Ridgebacks for two years, and have been house-sitting a boxer and two golden retrievers for the past year. I have one year of experience house-sitting cats! I have special expertise with senior dogs, having worked with them throughout my eight years of dog care. I am confident handling your pets' medications and prescriptions!

Whether I'm staying at your house while you're away or doing day visits to walk, feed and love your pet, I follow YOUR instructions for how and when to provide care. With first-time clients, I love to do walkthroughs to get a rundown of how best to care for your pet from the person who knows them best! I am available for both in-person and virtual walkthroughs.

Leah did a fantastic job with our high energy dog. He requires a lot of exercise and routine and she did a great job. She also left our home SO clean, I was beyond impressed!

Leah has taken care of our boxer dog many times and she is awesome! Walk? Check. Treats on schedule? Check. Meds? Check. Lots of attention? Check! Abby (our dog) is so excited to see Leah which makes leaving Abby behind easier. Leah is reliable and responsible and leaving Abby in her care is a huge relief. We know Abby will be well cared for!
Leah did a fantastic job of watching our pets (two dogs and two cats) while we were away. When one of our dogs fell I'll and stopped eating, Leah went above and beyond, taking her to the vet, fixing her special meals, and carefully keeping us updated on how things were progressing. She was exceptionally caring and communicative, and we would absolutely entrust our pets to her care again.
Leah has been a dog lover since she was a little girl. She started asking for a dog of her own when she was about 7 years old. At the time, her little brother was a brand new baby, so I told her that she could buy a dog when her little brother went off to kindergarten. Instead of that discouraging her, Leah began finding odd jobs to do around the house, and as she got older, started dog walking and dog sitting to earn the money. She also read books from the library on dog care, and searched the internet to learn about different dog breeds. Less than a month after her brother started kindergarten, Leah bought herself her very own dog from a rescue center down in the Richmond area. She named her Kylee. Her love for dogs has never diminished. Since she has been away at college, she has had a number of experiences dog sitting and dog walking for different clients. She knows how to work with paying customers and her love and level of care for their dogs has led to repeat business with these clients. Leah is a loving, responsible, reliable worker, and I am more than proud to recommend her.

Schedule
I am a student with 3 hours of classes at a time, specifically: On Mondays & Wednesdays I have class from 10am-12:45pm, and Tuesdays & Thursdays my classes are 2pm-5:15pm. I am also an actress, and Oct-Nov I will be in rehearsal 7:30-10pm for a play.
