My home is not available for pets right now, but I am happy to take care of your pet in their own home! I am open to dropping in as well as staying the night to keep them company! I would like to keep their routine as steady as possible, and am happy to play with them, let them out, take them on walks, etc. as best fits their normal schedule!

Please make me aware of their preferences, schedule, how they do with strangers and other dogs (ie who we might encounter on walks), diet restrictions, medications, and physical limitations! If they have a toy our routine for emotional support, I want to make sure they receive that. I want to keep your pet as safe and happy as I can, so let’s communicate about their individual needs!

Pets will get a walk, lots of playing time with their favorite toy, as much petting as their heart desires, and their daily allowances of food and snacks! I am also happy to practice learned commands, and can adjust to their schedule.

I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs, from chihuahuas to greyhounds and pit bulls! I’ve cared for young and geriatric dogs, dogs with anxiety, and have experience giving medication (oral meds and eye drops!)

If there is a pet at your party, you’ll know where to find Leah! Her natural affinity for all manner of critters combined with her dependability and patience, made her a natural choice to care for our two beagles and one terrier. We consistently returned home to happy, well tended pups. I recommend her whole heartedly.
When I think of an animal lover, I think of Leah. She is the most attentive and caring individual of all pets from dogs and cats to reptiles and bugs! She takes time to understand each animal and is respectful of their space, taking time to earn their trust. My cat always loves spending time with Leah and she is always my first choice in a pet sitter.
