Work remotely & can handle any pet!
I have almost 10 years working and volunteering in animal shelters and love pets of all kinds! I currently work remotely at the ASPCA and also volunteer at Denver Animal Shelter walking dogs so it’s safe to say I’m an animal lover. I am an avid runner so you can bet your dog will stay active with me! I also love kitties and am happy to drop in and check on any feline friends. I have my own dog who is large, crazy, and special needs (deaf), so I’m really confident handling just about any furry friend. I’d love to meet your pet and I think they’d love to meet me! I live in Lakewood and am primarily looking to do drop ins but could be available for over nights if needed and if nearby. Safety, trust & environment
I am experienced handling both large and small dogs and even special needs dogs. Shelter volunteering has made me very confident in handling behaviorally challenging pups as well. Dogs will always be on a leash with me (unless you have a secure fenced in yard).

Leah FORGOT about one of the two drop-in visits we had scheduled, resulting in my dog being alone in my apartment for over 10 hours with no potty break. I booked Leah for two drop-in visits over the July 4th week. We both live in the same building so I thought it would be convenient for both of us. We had a meet and greet on July 2 where she assured me she had availability for BOTH days. The first drop-in went fine and she left a nice card for my dog and mentioned leaving the key for tomorrow so I thought she had it all well in hand and didn’t think I needed to follow up. The next day I didn’t receive any notification from Rover, but didn’t think much of it since I was at the convention center and cell service was very bad with the con in full swing. I messaged her at the end of the day when I got out at which time she informed me she FORGOT about the second drop-in, my dog had not been out since I left that morning, and she was not even at home to pop over real quick to take him out. This was my very first time using Rover and I probably will not be doing so again.

Schedule
I work entirely from home and have a lot of flexibility— especially if you live nearby! My most flexible days are Fridays and weekends but also have a flexibility during the week.
