WFH with big yard!
Hi, I’m Leah 💗 I work from home, have a large fenced yard that’s perfect for fetch, and have a playful toy Australian Shepherd who’s always hoping for a new playmate (which is why I joined Rover!) 🐾 I believe a tired, engaged dog is a happy dog. Every dog I care for gets my full attention with walks, play, and cuddles. I take the time to learn what makes your dog tick, whether that’s a good game of fetch, scent work, or their favorite toy, and I tailor our time together around it. I also have solid dog training experience and love reinforcing good habits during their stay 🦴 Because I’m home all day, your dog is never alone for long stretches. I go slow, stick to a routine, and use positive reinforcement to help them feel safe and comfortable in my care. I grew up with dogs and have fostered for the past 8 years. I’m comfortable with dogs with behavioral or medical needs. Please let me know ahead of time about any quirks or requirements so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible. Note: I only accept potty-trained dogs 🐶 Dogs bring me so much joy and I’d love to bring that same energy to yours!

Leah was great and kind to Bailey and was nice for the last minute drop off too! She was friendly and gentle with Bailey as well with her being shy and nervous at first too! Would def book again!
HIGHLY recommend Leah if you're looking for someone who will love and care for your dog like their own. She's experienced with handling animals, reliable and communicative, and just a genuinely nice person I wouldn't hesitate to leave my dog with any day.
I’ve never seen a dog not love Leah. That includes my own pup, who gets SO excited when he sees Leah and her dog Yogi. Leah’s attentive to what the dogs might need, whether they’re thirsty, tired, bored, or in need of some space. Organized and neat, she’s a natural planner and is always on top of it—she’s the first to recommend outings to get the dogs some fresh air and sunshine.

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible daily schedule. My week with Yogi looks like lots walks around our neighborhood & fetch in the yard. Your dog will have so much fun!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and happiness is my priority. I have experience with all sorts of dogs from those with specific behavioral needs such as anxiety to those with medical conditions. I will follow any instructions on how best to walk and care for them like they are my own.
Pets
A typical day
We’ll play fetch in the yard, go for walks, and play with toys. Can also take them on hikes up at the park near my house. I can match whatever energy level your dog has with routine, exercise & enrichment.
