I have a fenced garden and a friendly miniature bull terrier for company. We go on lots of walks and as I have a car, we travel to some lovely woods and country walks. I’ve been house sitting for a few years now so am pretty adept at finding new walks in new areas and navigating a variety of kitchens ( almost more tricky than going out for a walk! ). House sitting allows me to keep the animals of the household in their routine, care for all the pets there and keep an eye on the property itself.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals all my life as I grew up with dogs, cats and ponies. I began my working life in the 1980’s as a veterinary nurse for a few years and then a dairy hand, raising calves in Israel for several years. On my return to England I began free lance yard work at various livery stables and house sitter for large and small animals.

Leah has a dog of her own so she is very aware of how important the right care of beloved animals is! During her previous times of looking after pets, she has sent photo updates as and when owners wanted them, including detailed written notifications to give the owners peace of mind. She has taken care of a vast array of animals, including horses (she looked after mine for over 4 years), dogs, cats, exotic birds, Guinea pigs and rabbits...and don't forget the tortoises!!! A very kind and empathetic person, with great communication skills, I would highly recommend Leah as someone to trust with everyone's pets!!!
Leah is trustworthy, vigilant and extremely caring where animals are concerned. She looks after my horse and donkeys and also my dog. I trust her 100% - she is both knowledgable and compassionate and I would recommend her highly. Your pets are in good hands if they are with her!
Leah is fantastic with animals. She regularly looked after my yellow Lab, Fosse, while I was at work and on my days off we’d go walking together. I always had the utmost faith in Leah and knew my beloved pet would be in safe hands with her. They had wonderful adventures together and Fosse was always so excited to see her. Animals are very much part of Leah’s life. Be it milking cows, grooming horses, walking dogs or caring for guinea pigs. She just has a knack of gaining the trust of animals and they love her! She’s very experienced in animal husbandry and is capable, trustworthy and calm. I commend Leah to you and have every confidence that she will prove to be an invaluable and popular member of the Rover team..
Leah has helped look after my fur babies for many years. She is completely trustworthy and goes above and beyond to all in her care. She has helped me with my ponies, tortoise(s), hamster, guinea pigs, fish and dogs. I feel very lucky to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other pet owners. Complete peace of mind that I can enjoy a much needed holiday knowing that everyone at home is being so well looked after. With that being said, please don’t all rush to book her though.
