Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own pets and family/friends dogs (& cats) since I was in middle school. I have experience with puppies, kittens, adult pets, and seniors. I have also given injectable insulin to my aunt's dog when pet sitting in the past and administered other daily medications for family pets. For drop ins I do not mind checking on other small pets or plants as well. Two years ago I adopted a whippet mix, Frida, who has become my best friend.

Leah is compassionate, caring and very responsible. She is a lover of all furry creatures, especially dogs. She has volunteered her time to serve at and raise funds/supplies for animal shelters in her hometown and in the town where she attends college. She is a strong advocate of pet adoptions and has helped multiple animals find their forever home. Leah has done an amazing job of caring for my pets while I have been away on vacation and business travel.

I just need to know how your dog feels about other dogs and people and how they do on a leash. Also any relevant “quirks” your dog may have such as a favorite- or least favorite- spots to be pet, favorite toys and activities, etc..
A typical day
I can take your dog on a walk around your neighborhood or to a nearby walking trail or greenway if its in walking distance. I do not feel comfortable driving with someone else's pet. If you have a yard I can play fetch with your pup and try to help them get their "zoomies" (energy) out before I leave - as indicated I am not doing home sitting at this time but I can do drop ins!

Availability
My work week is Sunday-Thursday so I have less spots available on those days. I would be visiting your pet usually around 6:00 but cannot always predict what time I will be off work so if they take a medication at a scheduled time or are crated I may not be the best fit. On weekends I am available anytime and would love to spend it with your pet :)
