Hi my name is Leah I am 25 years old. I took a few years break from rover however I am looking for some part time work while I’m on summer break as a teacher. I absolutely love both cats and dogs so this is the perfect job for me. I’m also a people person as well, so I cannot wait to meet so many friendly people such as you! I have owned multiple cats in the past and one beautiful dog. I currently have two cats named Mars Bar and Poptart! I know how to do the work everyone loves when looking after pets such as giving them love and attention, but I also know how to do the dirty work such as cleaning up accidents and changing the litter. Would love to help some of you out by taking care of your fur babies when needed :)

I always try to present myself as a calm presence when meeting new animals. I let them come to me and sniff me out until they show me they are ready for some pets!

Leah did a fantastic job looking after Koda today! She was very responsive and friendly upon drop off and pickup. I will be booking her to dog sit Koda again soon!
We booked Leah last minute to watch our boy Chance and were so happy with the way things went. It was our first time using Rover and Leah set the bar high!
We booked Leah for when we were on a trip out of town. It was our first time booking through Rover and we were nervous, but Leah was very responsive and kept us updated throughout the weekend. She sent us lots of pictures and updates and it looks like Goose had a wonderful time. He had some digestive issues (vomiting/diarrhea) while staying with her and Leah went above and beyond to take him at our request to our vet. She provided him with extra care and kept us in the loop the entire time!
Leah was amazing at making my senior dogs feel at ease during their week long stay. She kept me up to date with them and sent me cute pictures. They were very happy and bright eyed and I could tell she had made them feel like part of the family. I highly recommend this home away from home for your fur babies.

Schedule
I am currently on summer break as I am a teacher on call from September to June! My schedule is very flexible and most mornings / afternoons are free.
