Cat, dog, or otherwise, your pet will receive top quality care. If they want pets, pets they will get. If they want playtime, play we will. If they want to sit and be admired, I will sit and adore them from a distance. Whatever your pet needs, I can help provide. I understand every animal is different (just like humans!), and I’m willing to spend the time getting to know your pet to make sure our interactions are nothing but positive :)
Information Leah B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. Any additional information you think is necessary is more than welcome.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. Trying new forms enrichment is a personal favorite of mine. We can play plenty of games indoors or outdoors. I also have a large backyard with lots of grass for plenty of nature time. I like to be patient with cats, getting to know what they enjoy and which interactions they are most comfortable with. Some of my cats’ favorites are cuddling on the couch, playing with the laser pointer, chasing a string, and eating treats.

Individualized Pet Care
Pet care experience
Currently, I’m a veterinary assistant in Elliott City. I’ve lived with cats and dogs my entire life, and I have almost two years of professional farm animal caregiving experience. Since summer of 2019, I have adopted senior, sick, or otherwise compromised cats and dogs. I have experience giving pills orally, giving subcutaneous injections, giving ear drops, giving eye drops, feeding through syringe, clipping claws, applying topical treatment, basic wound care, and wrapping, bathing, as well as general care (feeding, playing, clearing litter box, etc). I would love to visit and help out anyone in need of an extra hand.

Reviews

Leah was very communicative throughout our entire trip. She did great giving medicine and winning over our very picky cat!

Fiona had a great time with Leah. Fiona loves hugs and attention and Leah gave her plenty of both! She was very conscientious and mindful of our other pets. The photos Leah sent were great, Fiona was definitely having fun!
