I am a local college student available to care for your furry “baby”; providing love and care as you would while away. I have experience caring for range of pet ages understanding the needs of younger pets (exercise, stimulation) as well as older pets (mobility, meds, etc.). Either way I take my time and exercise patience in getting your dog comfortable and happy with me caring for them. My goal is to be their “stand in pet parent” and care and love for them as they way you do. I believe to do that it is important to gain trust and confidence with meeting beforehand if that works for you. I hope to make your pet feel comfortable so that their stay or care with me will be an enjoyable one for them, and a reassuring one for you.

I had a social event that meant I would be out of the house for the full day. As a new puppy owner in the middle of house training, I couldn’t think of anyone better than Leah to help care for my 4-month-old puppy while I was away. Leah was prompt and even arrived early to give our pup a chance to get to know her through plenty of licks and sniffing. When I left, I knew Artie was in good hands. I gave Leah detailed instructions about his schedule, and she followed them to a T. She was an excellent dog sitter and is now my go-to person whenever I need to be away and Artie needs care. Having a new puppy is like having a child—you want peace of mind when you leave them with someone, and Leah is absolutely the person to give you peace of mind. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet.

Schedule
I am a college student - where I work my schedule to be available for your pet’s needs. I have taken care of my dog of 15 years and understand being available with the different needs of a young puppy to a more older dog.

A typical day
A typical day includes walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, potty breaks, and keeping your dog company. Depending on their personality, we may enjoy fetch, tug-of-war, relaxing together, or outdoor adventures while making sure they feel safe, happy, active, and loved.
