A typical day
While I always tailor activities to a dog’s specific energy levels and your instructions, here is what a typical day of fun looks like with us: Morning Zoomies: We start the day by sticking to their usual breakfast routine. Once their stomachs have settled, we head straight out into our spacious, fully fenced garden. This is prime time for burning off that morning energy with a game of fetch, tug of war, finding treats in the garden. Midday fun involves sunbathing in the garden, walks to the local parks playing with other dogs, swimming at the beach and exploring the woods in the area. Rainy Day Backup Plan: Living in Scotland, we know how to handle rain! If the weather is bad, the fun moves indoors. Your dog has full access to the house, which means raiding the toy box for tug-of-war in the living room or engaging in enrichment puzzles to keep their brains busy. Evening Cuddles: As the day winds down, it’s all about relaxation. Since dogs are allowed on our furniture, the evening is usually spent curled up on a cosy sofa with us for TV time, ear scratches, and maximum affection before bedtime.

Reviews

Addis has had a fantastic time. It was great meeting Leah and David beforehand and felt they would do a great job with Addis. Their home is ideal for dogs and they kept in touch with updates and info frequently. Will definitly use them again. Addis is now snoozing soundly after a lovely day at the beach with them. Thank you.

Leah has been excellent with our dog ithaka. We have so far had a successful meet and greet and first day care session. Her dog Ripley is wonderful and friendly, and Leah and David are very kind and considerate owners. Leah has had experience with a blind dog herself which was very reassuring for us leaving ithaka in her care. Ithaka came back tired and happy We look forward to the next dog sitting

I am so so happy with the care Leah offered my collie Scout. He received long country walks as well as playing in her garden with her dog Ripley. Scout was more than happy staying in Leah’s house and settled well after being out. He received a bath after a mucky walk and was happy playing with toys along with Ripley. I have no hesitation in recommending Leah as a first class sitter. Thank you so much for caring for Scout and perhaps meet you again in the future.
Leah has loved learning about animals and being around them especial dogs and horses since childhood. over the years I've owned different kinds of dog breeds and was a breeder too. Leah used to help me feed and groom the puppy's before being sold. she would look after the older dogs while I was on holiday several times a year. Leah will take great care looking after your dogs no matter rain or sunshine.
