I have grown up around both cats and dogs and have helped care for them from the puppy and kitten stages through adulthood. This has included everyday care, walks, play, feeding and attending dog-training classes. Until recently, I also shared my home with my own cat, so I understand how important it is to entrust your animal to someone who treats them as part of the family. I am absolutely animal-obsessed and will give your pet plenty of affection, attention and enrichment. At the same time, I am calm and consistent with boundaries and will follow your routines, house rules and training methods rather than letting these cuties get away with absolutely everything!

Lea is amazing with dogs, we have a dog who is usually quite shy around people but she’s obsessed with Lea, and always excited to spend a day at hers! The communication is great, both before and during dog sitting days. A big plus is also that Lea lives close to a forest and a dog park, for when our dog stays over at hers, but she also stayed at our place with our dog sometimes, both works perfectly.

Schedule
My weekly schedule is quite flexible at the moment, as I am not working full-time. I only accept bookings when I know I can give an animal the time and attention they need. Walks, feeding, play, companionship and rest will be planned around the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a two bedroom apartment on the third floor with a balcony in Kortedala. A hundrastgård and the forest are right around the corner and are waiting to be explored. I will always discuss everything with the owner beforehand and follow their instructions carefully. I provide calm supervision, plenty of affection and consistent boundaries while respecting the pet’s existing routines and training. I also pay close attention to doors, food, potential hazards and interactions with other animals. In an owner’s home, I of course treat both the animal and the space with care and respect.
A typical day
Depending on what the dog likes and needs, we can go on long walks or just spend time outside in nature, exploring the surroundings or learning new tricks. We can go out and socialize in new places or just cuddle up on the couch together - It always depends!
