I have been an active dog sitter for over 22 years and have loved welcoming new furry friends into my life. I only accept one pet family at a time, so your pet is always my #1 guest! I have a very walkable neighborhood and a large deck for relaxing in the sun. Why I love dog sitting My earliest memory is of chasing after dogs at the beach and playing fetch with them. We were not allowed to have dogs growing up because of my brother's asthma, so I have been spending my adult life trying to make up for lost time. I have been dog sitting for 20+ years now and have experience with a large assortment of breeds and temperaments. My pet sitting experiences have truly given me the best job on the planet. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medication to cats, dogs and hedgehogs.

Lea was amazing with Lula! We appreciated all the photos and check-ins from Lea during Lula's week stay as it made us feel that Lula was in good hands. Lea took wonderful care of our 16-year old pup, Kazie. We feel safe and confident every time Kazie visits Lea for her stay-cation. Our senior dog comes home anxiety-free which helps us keep up with Kazie. Lea is a gem experienced sitter with wonderful communication practices. Lea kept Prince, our Pomeranian, for a week while we were on vacation attending a family reunion. She is a great communicator and sends pictures and notes daily on how Prince is doing. We felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. Seeing him relaxed and happy assured us he felt right at home! We would not hesitate to use her services again. Thank you so much, Lea! Prince misses you already! 🥰
When we were planning a long trip, we were thrilled to see that Lea was available to watch Buster. We've used Lea several times in the past and Buster has always been well cared for (spoiled rotten :-) and happy during his stay. Lea is super responsive and sends us lots of hilarious pictures and comments during his stay. Clearly Buster is having a great time! This stay Lea noticed that Buster was itching/licking an area (a sign of allergies for him) on his back leg and she was able to take him to the vet for an allergy shot. We are so grateful that she was able to do this for us so that Buster could have a happy, itch-free stay.
This is Buster's 4th stay with Lea. We love our dog - but we don't worry while on vacation because we know Buster is so well cared for. Lea is wonderful and sends lots of photos/updates and Buster clearly feels right at home -lots of sleeping, stretching, walks and belly rubs. Buster even waits by the door for her husband to return (he does this at our house too). We couldn't be happier with his care and have already booked Lea for our next vacation.

Schedule
I work from home, so on a typical day I am home 95% of the time and available for cuddles and potty breaks all day long!

I have a fully fenced yard with locked gates. The bottom of our fence is dig proof throughout the yard, so it's a safe, protected environment
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will walk around our neighborhood and along the San Lorenzo community center lake or the Marina Your dog's sleeping arrangement I try to replicate the same accommodations as you do, so depending on your pet's comfort they can either snuggle in my bed or on their pet bed or in the safety of their crate. Time I'll spend with your dog When pet sitting, I really try to limit any extra curricular activities so that I can spend as much time with your dog as possible. But I do work full time, so I will be in my home office from 9-5 with plenty of time for potty breaks and play time at lunch!
