I am self-employed, so my schedule is set by me. I do now live south of Missoula, which makes visits very early or very late in the day less of an option, unless I am already House Sitting in Missoula. Do not hesitate to ask! It may work for those dates needed.

Pets are most comfortable with what they know, so I like details about what a normal day looks like for them. I can’t always match it perfectly, but I do my best to! I do not do any Boarding in my own home.

I like to know health details about your pets in advance to help me care for them best in the event that they feel a little down from their parents being gone. Most pets notice that their parents are away and have feelings about that. What medications do they need to take and will they have enough for the duration of my care? How many treats are acceptable? What are their bad habits? Let me know what their quirks are so I can give them the best care possible!
A typical day
I am a big fan of walks from home. As a blanket policy, I do not put pets in my vehicle unless it is for a vet visit. I am comfortable using the pet owner’s vehicle for fun outings, and am happy to provide my insurance coverage and drivers license. I really like walks to water in summer, and hikes on public lands in winter ❄️

Lea was great! She was easy to communicate with, sent cute pics and updates, and was able to give our senior cat her meds (which isn’t the easiest thing to do!) It was nice to be away and know our cat was in good hands!
Lea was fantastic. She did such a fantastic time meeting the cats where they were and marching their comfort levels. She sent photos every day and asked clarifying questions if she had them. She even took it upon herself to water our plants and bring in the packages: truly above and beyond. Thank you, Lea, from us and the cats!
