Dog Mom of 1 floofy pup!
I'm Lea and I moved to Ottawa from Germany in 2015 - I'm a dog lover and German at heart (I love being on time!). I have a 5-year old dog of my own: my Sheltie Clint! I got him as a puppy and he’s my ride or die. We love going on long walks by the Arboretum and Commissioners Park, or the occasional trip to the dog park around the corner. Rain or Shine, we're always out! If you'd like, I can include your furry friend into my walks with my own dog to give them more confidence, or I can pop by and walk them by themselves if they are not a fan of other dogs. I'm confident in handling dogs that have special requirements (just let me know!) and absolutely love sending owners photo updates during the day. I will love your dog like my own! Any special rules or requests you might have, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Lea was great - I called her short notice and trusted her sight unseen with my dog, as there was no time to meet up pre-trip. (2 dog walks over 2 days). In this less than ideal scenario, she managed all the details no problem, of pick up and dog details, meeting dog sight unseen, and gave my dog great 1-hour walks and ball time in the park. My dog is less than easy to manage as well as a highly-energetic somewhat trained 1.5 yr old Bordie (border collie/Ozzie). Lots of pix too. Thanks Lea! Maybe we will meet some day. lol
Lea was amazing! Read my (very extensive) care guide in depth. She was responsive and very respectful of my space. Lea was extremely diligent and provided updates as needed. Extremely kind and helpful. My 10 week old puppy had a blast with her. Looking forward to having Lea again!
Lea is so great with Bo! She was on time for his scheduled walk, and took some cute photos. She also helped with some sit training while on their walk since Bo can get excited when he sees other dogs. I will definitely be booking Lea again! Highly recommend.
Lea is awesome! Very friendly and professional. She clearly loves dogs and her work, and she is very good about trying to be available even when requests are on short notice. Our dog LOVES Lea. Highly recommend!!
Lea is amazing with my dog Gimli! She has been so helpful at training him on a leash, getting him some exercise, and giving him some TLC when I am at work. She is also super reliable, and great to communicate with.
I am so happy with Lea's services. My dog loves her! She is always very sweet and kind to him and she makes sure that he receives the care and attention that he needs. She is always on time and all my communications with her are easy and pleasant. I have full confidence in her. She is reliable, trustworthy and friendly. I feel so much better now that I know that my dog is in good hands when I am at work. She even takes the best photos :)

Schedule
I’m currently working full-time, so I’d be happy to take your dog on walks during my lunch time (12pm), in the evenings or on weekends!

A typical day
I love exploring different trails in the Arboretum or small park nearby. Since I own a Sheltie, playing fetch in the park is my expertise (really: I never get tired of throwing a ball) - mental/physical stimulation is key!
