I’ve owned pets since I was a little girl. I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, fish, cats and dogs. I currently have a fresh water planted aquarium in my living room, and 4 kitties upstairs in their kitty room (Kitty Nena, Nomi, Neji and Noah). They’re comfortably kept in their room at all times (except for a few evenings that I let them roam upstairs for a little) I worked for Pet Supermarket retail stores for 9 years. I started as a Sales Associate and left as a Store Manager. I worked in the Bird Road, 8th Street, Pinecrest, and Metro Zoo stores. Throughout that time I accumulated a lot of knowledge on pets, especially on dogs and cats. I truly enjoy their presence!

Laysus is an amazing sitter for our dog Pepper! We always get plenty of video/ photo updates of our pup while we are away, you can tell just how much Laysus loves animals. Laysus was a wonderful sitter for our dog Pepper. We are always nervous leaving our dog with someone new, but Laysus made us feel immediately comfortable with updates and a meet and greet ahead of time. At pick up time, Pepper seems happy and super relaxed. We will definitely be reaching out again in the future when we need a sitter again!

Laysus was excellent! She was flexible and communicative. I went spearfishing for the weekend and she was able to flex around for my dropoff and pick up times on a holiday weekend. The whole trip she sent videos of my two pooches telling me how they were!
We used Rover as a last-minute option when our pet-sitter changed plans. Although we were skeptical of the process at first, we found Laysus on the site and were put at ease. We met with Laysus prior to boarding our old frenchie and she helped answer any and all questions we had. When we dropped off our pup, she allowed us to see inside her home where he would be staying for a couple days. During his time there, we received pictures, videos, and updates of how our pup was doing. Our dog seemed very comfortable there when we picked him up and was well cared for. We would definitely be using this service again!

Schedule
I am available 100% of the time. I set overnight alarms if pets need to be walked or checked on in the middle of the night. I am also up early at 7am.

Safety, trust & environment
To have all the 1on1 time your dog needs, and to keep them safe… I only book 1 dog at a time. If you have more than 1 dog, I can happily take care up to 3, since they belong to the same family! I can walk your dog as often as needed. I do enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood. I have an indoor area (living room/dining room) and a fenced outdoor area where I care for them, which includes playing and/or training if you supply me with your dog’s favorite treats. When it’s time to sleep, they’ll sleep in my bedroom. I am open to special needs feeding, and I’m comfortable giving medicine if needed. I keep my house clean and organized. There’s no choking hazards on the floor. Floors are swept daily, and mopped frequently. 🙂 Safety is first!
A typical day
I will take your dog on walks, hang out in my backyard.. play and train (If pet parent allows). And most importantly, I will make sure your dog is properly eating and drinking water. I will send you videos and photos throughout the day, and keep you updated! Please don’t feel the need to reply to the updates, I much rather you enjoy your time!!
