I typically work Thursdays-Saturdays from 6p-3am. I also work at music festivals and will leave weeks at a time but as long I’m in town I’ll make it work!

A typical day
I do my best to keep the animals entertained while indoors by giving attention and playing with any toys they have. If there’s a backyard, I’ll often be out there with the pet (if allowed) playing along with walks if that’s something to owner would be okay with :) basically give them all my attention and figure out what would make them happy

Wide range of experiences. Grew up on a farm in Germany feeding cows, always have owned pets from cats, dogs, lizards, fish, rats etc. I’ve worked at dog training and boarding facilities called Sweet Doggies and CALIK9 in Sunnyvale, California for three+ years. At those facilities I cared/trained for up to 50+ dogs in an free range area. I’m usually the go to friend when people need their pets to be babysat because they’re going out of town, usually it’s older cats and dogs that need special care, health needs and attention. I love all animals in general and I’d care for your pet as if they were my own and my own are very very loved.

Layse was the perfect choice to watch our Kitties, Juliette while we were on vacation for a week. She’s shy, but easily warmed up to Layse. Layse also was punctual and professional. All the special instructions for our baby were no problem for Layse, which made us able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We are very thankful and would highly recommend Layse as an excellent pet sitter.
Layse did an amazing job watching my 10 month old puppy, mabel, while I was away at work. I asked for a meet and greet beforehand and Layse was so easy to communicate with and was more than willing to come over and learn how to make Mabel comfortable while I would be away. I was consistently updated with photos and videos throughout the day and could see how much fun Mabel was having! She was all tuckered out when I got home and it was a relief knowing she was well cared for. I will definitely be looking to use Layse's services in the future!
