A few years ago, I had to say goodbye to my cat, Cid, of over 20 years, towards the end of his life I became comfortable with the extra attention a senior pet needs, and love the company of all cats! I often relied on Rover to take care of Cid while I was away on trips/vacations, and now I felt I could do the same for others!

Layne took terrific care of our cat, Pixel, for two weeks. He sent daily photos and let us know how she was doing. We also appreciated that he has lots of cat toys, a litter box, and dishes. That made bringing her over a lot easier. Pixel seemed right at home at Layne's place and the reassuring communication allowed us to enjoy our vacation with no worries. We would definitely book with Layne again.
I couldn’t have dreamed of a better cat sitter for my 22‑pound Maine Coon! Layne provides an amazing environment—his spacious condo gives plenty of room for cats to roam comfortably, and the fenced outdoor area is a fantastic bonus. He is incredibly attentive, caring, and clearly experienced with cats of all sizes and personalities. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such good hands. Layne kept me updated every day with pictures and made sure my cat was happy, safe, and well cared for the entire time. I highly recommend Layne to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving cat sitter!
Layne was awesome. He sent daily pictures, communication was great, and I could tell my princess was in good hands the entire time. I will absolutely be recommending him to my friends and rebook for myself if the situation comes up again. 11/10!!!
As always, Layne is absolutely amazing with Percy. Every time we pick him up from a stay at Layne’s he’s beaming and doesn’t want to leave! It’s not just boarding but a little vacation for our sweet boy.

Schedule
I work a normal eight hour full time job less than two miles away, so I'm here for morning and evening care, while offering your cat a calm and peaceful stay throughout the day

Safety, trust & environment
I have a quiet, clean apartment free of other animals or children that your cats can call home while you are away. I have a litter box and food/water bowls, so no need to lug those with you if you don't want to. I also have a small fenced in Patio if you are comfortable allowing your pet some outside time to lounge in the sun.
A typical day
Feel free to bring along any toys that your cat loves, but I've got plenty to keep them busy with as well! I try and always keep the bird feeder filled for bird watching!
