I am extremely cautious when caring for another person’s dog. I take priority in the animal’s safety and ensure that anything that the animal should not have access too (such as medications, etc) are out of reach to the animal. I also ensure that gates close properly, water is always available, and that doors are closed.

I do not have breed preferences. I have a lot of experience with working with pitbulls from when I was volunteering at the animal shelter so although I am small, I am able to handle bigger, stronger dogs. It would be important for me to know how your dog interacts with other animals and if they should stay away from other dogs when on walks.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks and would love for your dog to accompany me! I live in rittenhouse and love walking in this area - mainly down spruce and pine. I oftentimes end up in Washington square west as well.

Hello! My name is Layla and I have been dog sitting for many years. I love dogs but do not have one of own so watching other people’s dogs is truly a joy for me! I moved to Philadelphia in 2023, but in my previous city, I frequently volunteered at the Humane Association. I have cared for big dogs and small dogs. I love taking the dogs I’m watching on walks and also love playing with them outside. I am very responsible and attentive and care for others dogs as if they are part of my own family! I am very patient and ensure that the dogs that I watch are getting the attention and care that they require. I hope to be seeing your pet soon!

We had a wonderful experience with Layla! She took such great care of Ellie, sent lots of updates and photos, was quick to communicate, and even brought in packages that arrived while we were away. I was fully able to enjoy my time away knowing Ellie was in such good hands. She also helped with a last-minute walk request the week before our trip. She treated both our home and our pup with so much care and respect. She is reliable and trustworthy, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
