Auntie Layla, as she is known in our house, is amazing. She and her family have taken care of Finley many times, and he is so excited every time we pull up to the front of her house. His latest visit to Auntie Layla's was for two weeks when we were traveling. He became ill and Layla kept us informed from the very start, made sure he went to the vet and received the care he needed, and managed his medication as part of his follow up care. When we got back he was almost back to 100% of his spunky self. We are so grateful for Layla and her family for caring for him so beautifully and for knowing we have a place for Finley when we go away where he is loved and cared for like he would be at home. Thank you so much!!

The dogs were well cared for, but most updates focused on what the dogs had done. They are rescues who experienced many traumatic events early in their lives and still have a lot of anxieties. This trip was the first time they were left with a stranger. Unfortunately, some insoles were chewed up, and a pair of sandals suffered minor damage because the guest room door was left open and the shoes were on the floor. The next day, food was left on the counter, and the dogs became curious. I unfortunately do not have the money to replace Birkenstocks, and I have apologized. I wish there was more I could do. I do appreciate the care she gave my dogs.

I would happily trust Mama’s Boy to Layla anytime. 😊

Beau was in excellent hands for an overnight with Layla. She handled my big chocolate Labrador teen ager with skill and care. We had great communication throughout and she made every effort to understand how Beau’s schedule runs. Her overnight stay was a success!

Layla took great care of our dog, Maya! She's super easy to communicate with, was receptive to our care requests and provided updates with pics during the stay, which was very important to us when we're away to give us peace of mind :) Will rebook with Layla in the future!

Layla and Jamie were absolutely fantastic! My two older dogs were happy and comfortable the entire time. I hadn’t boarded them for quite some time and I was a little nervous about leaving them for a whole week but they did great. My one dog had a minor issue which required a vet visit and Layla went above and beyond to handle it for me while I was out of town and she had no problem with taking him to my primary vet office. She kept me updated with photos regularly while I was away which made me not have to worry about them. Highly recommend!!
