I was so happy that Kodie was able to have a good time with Layla and her puppy. She sent us updated and pictures. I definitely will contact Layla again for the next boarding.
Would've been 5 stars. However, I explicitly mentioned to make sure gates are closed because Leo runs out, I was assured there is no risk of that happening, but still a gate was left open and the dog ran out. 3 stars because they were honest about it and the dog came back but this should kept in mind before booking.
Layla was fantastic, really easy communication and everything was great.
Our dog had a great vacation with Layla (and Ace)! She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. She even sent us pictures during our trip. Overall great experience.

Through my veterinary technician experience, I’ve developed strong skills in recognizing health concerns, handling animals safely, and responding appropriately in urgent situations. I am comfortable providing both routine care and certain basic medical support when needed.

In addition to standard pet sitting services, I am experienced with nail trims, basic grooming maintenance, administering medications, subcutaneous fluids, and assisting with routine care needs such as expressing anal glands. My background in veterinary medicine allows me to closely monitor pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health while they are in my care. Pet care is a top priority for me. I maintain structured routines for feeding, exercise, enrichment, and monitoring overall well-being. I believe animals thrive when their normal routine is respected, so I work closely with owners to ensure their pets remain comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
