I have been raised around all sorts of pets ranging from hamsters to dogs of all ages. My parents always expected me to help take care of our dogs and it has always been my responsibility to take care of my own animals. I have also learned a lot about pet care and animal behavior through my own research!

I always make sure to meet your animals in a way that they feel comfortable prior to services in order to ensure everyone’s safety. I usually bring treats or a toy so they know I am someone they can trust! I also am able to accommodate to any needs for your pet whether it’s medicine, a specific diet, or if you are working on any specific training with them.

Layla did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was loved, walked, and well cared for. Layla is also very dependable. You can truly tell how much she loves animals. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and living at home. I commute to and from school everyday and my weekends are usually free! I am happy to share my class schedule in order to make sure we are the right fit!

- I like to know their pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions for care. It’s also really helpful to know their energy level, temperament, and how they are around other people or animals. Any medical needs, allergies, or medications are important, along with things that might make them anxious or uncomfortable. Knowing their favorite activities, toys, and any house rules helps me give them the best care possible and keep things consistent for them.
