Dog-obsessed homebody in Stevenage
Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats, caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Over the past 6 years I've become the go-to sitter for my sister's dogs — regularly looking after them for weeks at a time while she's on holiday. And it's not just family — back in London during grad school, I also looked after my neighbours' dogs, so I'm well used to understanding different dogs' personalities, routines, and quirks from the get-go. Friends and family have always trusted me to give their pets that extra bit of love and attention when they're away, and that's something I genuinely take pride in. I work from home full-time with a very flexible schedule, which means I'm around most of the day and able to give dogs the company, attention, and routine they need. Weekdays, evenings, weekends — I'm available and happy to accommodate whatever works best for you and your pup. I'll always tailor my care to your dog's needs — whether that's gentle walks and a calm environment, specific feeding schedules, or longer play sessions for a more energetic dog. My priority is always making sure every pet in my care feels safe, loved, and right at home.

I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after our puppy whilst we were on holiday. Layal was incredibly patient, attentive, and followed all of our routines. Our puppy is still training so Layal took the time to understand how we would treat him and would check with us if there was anything she could do to make him comfortable. We received regular updates, photos and videos which helped when being away for so long. We knew Leo was in safe hands!!! Highly recommend!

Layal is now Pomsky certified; took excellent care of my two sassy boys and was delightful to communicate with throughout. I would recommend her to anyone looking for excellent care for their dogs.
Layal is one of the best people to take care of your furry babies! Having left her to look after my two doodles multiple times, there’s no one I’d trust more. You can really feel the love and care she has for them despite some of their quirks, and she’ll take special attention to take into account any special requirements your pooch might need. Honestly look to no one else, your pup will be in the best hands with Layal!
Layal is like a second mom to my cats. She’s been looking after them while I’m away for 3 years now and I couldn’t imagine a safer or more reliable sitter. If I’m being honest, I think I’m a good mom but she’s better — she cleaned their litter box more often than I did.
Layal is a dependable, organized, and extremely loving animal caretaker. Your dog is not only safe and taken care of with her, but loved, too. I leave my dog, Zizu, with Layal every time I travel, and I receive plenty of updates, photos, and videos of him enjoying his time with her each time I do so. It's a blessing to be able to travel without worrying about our pets. I'm only able to do that because of high level of attention and care that Layal gives my dog each time I leave him in her care. I would highly recommend leaving your fur-baby with Layal. Be careful though...they may start to love her as much as they love you!

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine — I work from home full-time and never need to go into an office, which means I'm available around the clock, seven days a week. Weekdays, weekends, no problem at all. Dogs in my care will never be left alone for long stretches — I'm always home and happy to give them my full attention.

My home is a calm, loving environment where pets are treated like family. I have a small backyard where dogs can go potty and get some fresh air, and I'm lucky to live close to some beautiful parks that are perfect for walks and a good run around. I always respect the owner's instructions to the letter — whether that's diet, exercise levels, medication, or any other specific routine — so dogs feel as safe and settled as they do at home.
A typical day
A typical day involves lots of cuddles, playtime, and walks to the local parks to get those steps in! I love nothing more than giving a dog my undivided attention — whether that's lounging together on the sofa or exploring outside. Every day is tailored to the dog's energy level and personality.
