Betty and I have had cats and dogs most of our lives although currently there is no animal living inside the house now. My wife and I like to study animal behavior and I believe I have a special way with animals, especially cats. We even have a feral cat who we feed and lives on the porch most of the time. He even sleeps in a heated bed during the winter!

I feed them, pet them, talk to them, play with them, take them for walks in my quiet residential neighborhood, take them to the dog park and of course, clean up after them.

We highly recommend Lawrence, who did an excellent job of housesitting and caring for our three finicky cats. Our oldest feline required fluid injections which was no problem at all for him. In fact, we think Lawrence took such good care of our elderly cat that he looks better than when we left! We came home to a clean house with three kitties who acted like we hadn't been gone. They are looking forward to having Uncle Lawrence back soon when we take off again for a few days.
Larry took care of my two cats - separated because one is just here from the shelter and the two cats haven’t met yet - and did a great job. My older cat stopped eating (which he does sometimes when I leave) and Larry not only let me know immediately, but went out and bought him something tempting to eat. And, when I got home I saw that Larry had also brought my second cat a gift - a scratching board (he doesn’t seem to like the scratching post). Larry was also. able to give my older cat his medication in his food, which was key. He seemed to have a real rapport with both of them, which showed up in his photographs - which were fantastic. I recommend Larry highly for cat sitting.
Arthur and Napoleon are excited to see Larry.
Larry cared for our two kitties extremely well over two and half weeks--they were clearly very happy with him. He left the house very clean, too. I highly recommend Larry!

Schedule
Betty is retired and I work mostly from home on the computer and I also do audio engineering on some nights so I would be home most of the time with your pet. Dogs especially can get anxiety when left alone in new surroundings.
