I am a genuine animal lover with years of experience caring for animals. I have always grown up with pets in my family and have also volunteered at animal sanctuaries and farms, which has given me experience caring for different types of animals and understanding their individual needs and personalities. When your pet stays with me, their wellbeing and happiness are my top priority. I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, while keeping to their usual routines as much as possible. I also live on a quiet side road near a small park, which is perfect for calm, stress free walks away from busy traffic and loud noises. This makes it an ideal environment for dogs who may be sensitive or nervous. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be treated with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention while they are with me.

Schedule
I recently completed my masters in Mental Health and I am currently between work positions so my days are quite flexible and differ on the day-to-day. This means I have increased availability during the week as well as on the weekend for the time being

I make sure pets receive plenty of affection, attention, and comfort so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I love spending time cuddling and giving them lots of positive interaction. I also keep them mentally and physically stimulated by playing their favourite games, taking them on walks, and engaging them in activities they enjoy. I always aim to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel at home. Most importantly, I pay close attention to their individual needs and personality, making sure they are happy, safe, and well cared for at all times.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the pet’s usual routine, which I always try to follow as closely as possible. For dogs, the day would usually start with a morning walk or playtime, followed by breakfast and some time to relax. Throughout the day I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and stimulating activities such as their favourite games, as well as additional walks if needed. For cats, especially during house sitting, I make sure they are fed according to their routine, their litter tray is kept clean, and that they receive attention, playtime, and affection if they enjoy it. I understand that some cats prefer quiet companionship rather than constant interaction, so I always adapt to their personality. In the evening there is usually another walk or play session for dogs, followed by dinner and a calm wind down. I also like to send owners regular updates and photos so they can feel reassured that their pet is happy and well cared for.
