Where Your Dog Becomes Family

Dogs have always been a part of our family, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. Over the past 15 years, we’ve shared our home with four dogs, including caring for three into their senior years through age-related and chronic health conditions. We’ve also raised a litter of puppies, giving us experience with young dogs and the extra patience, attention, and consistency they require. Because I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods. We have a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our three dog-loving children have been raised to be gentle and respectful with animals. While we’re not looking to add another dog to our family permanently, we’d love to open our home to yours. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, family environment where every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home.

If you’re looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were her own, I can’t recommend The Clark family enough. They have a genuine love for all animals. From dogs and bunnies to just about any furry friend, and it shows in the way they care for them. They are patient, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Knowing your pets are safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away brings incredible peace of mind, and that’s exactly what they provide.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, allowing me to be present with the dogs throughout the day. Potty breaks, outdoor play, walks (if requested), feeding, medication, and plenty of affection are all easily incorporated into my schedule. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, so they won’t just be supervised—they’ll be part of our family’s day. Whether your pup loves to play, relax, or simply be near people, they’ll receive plenty of attention, companionship, and love while they’re with us. I also make it a priority to keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Because I work from home, your pet will have supervision and companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for extended periods. I take the time to learn each dog’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they can maintain the routine they’re used to at home. Our home has a fully private fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and all dogs are monitored while outside. I believe every dog deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of affection, and I treat each guest as if they were one of my own. I also understand that every dog has a different personality, so I take introductions slowly and always prioritize a calm, low-stress environment. Throughout your dog’s stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time.

A typical day

A typical day starts with a potty break, breakfast (following your dog’s normal routine), and plenty of time to stretch their legs in our fully fenced yard. Since I work from home, your pup will have companionship throughout the day, along with supervised outdoor play, enrichment, toys, and lots of love and attention. Whether your dog enjoys playing fetch, exploring the yard, lounging inside, or simply being close to people, I’ll tailor the day to their personality and energy level. There will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, water, rest, and cuddles throughout the day. In the evening, we’ll wind down with more outdoor time, dinner, and a relaxing environment so your dog feels comfortable, safe, and right at home. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having while you’re away.

To provide the best possible care, I’d love to know as much as I can about your dog before their stay. Please tell me about their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, energy level, favorite toys or activities, and any medications or medical conditions. It’s also helpful to know how they interact with children and other dogs, whether they have any fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), if they have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, and if they have any behaviors you’d like me to be aware of, such as jumping, escaping, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible by keeping their routine as familiar as I can while they’re part of our family.
