Loving Pet Care from Pup to Senior
Hi, I’m Laurissa! I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for everything from playful 20 pound pups to gentle 95 pound dogs, as well as both energetic puppies and senior dogs who need extra patience and love. I have hands-on experience with leash training, crate training, and teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and recall. I focus on patience and positive reinforcement so pets feel confident and secure. I’m also comfortable bathing dogs of any coat type and have all the supplies to keep them fresh and clean. Rescue work has always been a big part of my life and I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which has given me experience caring for pets with very different personalities and needs. At home I currently have my dog Bean, two cats named Pickle and Berry, and nine chickens. Living with so many different pets has taught me how to balance their routines and make sure each one feels safe, loved, and cared for. Whether your pet needs a walk, help with training, a cozy crate routine, or just cuddles and playtime, I’ll treat them like part of my own family. We have a fully fenced backyard along with an enclosed garden space depending on your pets needs.

I provide care in your home so your pets can stay in a familiar, comfortable environment. I follow their regular routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any training or crate routines you’d like me to continue. I’m experienced with leash training, crate training, and reinforcing basic commands, so I’m happy to help keep up with consistency. For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, whether that’s walks, play, or just companionship. For cats, I’m attentive to their needs and personalities, from active play to quiet company, and I always keep up with litter box cleaning and feeding schedules. I’m also comfortable administering medications if needed, providing baths for dogs of any coat type, and handling special instructions you leave for your pets. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away, just as if you were home with them.

Laurissa was amazing with my dog, Bean! From the start, she was super communicative and made me feel completely at ease leaving Bean in her care. She gave me regular updates and photos, which showed just how happy and comfortable Bean was with her. It was clear she treated him like one of her own, giving him plenty of love, attention, and exercise. When I came home, Bean was relaxed, well taken care of, and clearly had a great time. I can’t recommend Laurissa enough; she went above and beyond, and I’ll definitely be booking her again!
