I’ll only take on pets on my days off, which means they will get my undivided attention. Plenty of bathroom breaks, walks, and love. Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my apartment, so just let me know if those aren’t your rules.

I live in an apartment with a balcony. There’s plenty of open space in the surrounding area and we’ll go on lots of adventures, as long as it suits your pup! I will always keep your dog on a leash unless you tell me otherwise.

Please don’t book with me if your dog has any aggression issues towards people or dogs, as that can be difficult to manage in an apartment complex. I have a five-month-old Golden Retriever who loves to play with and learn from other dogs. If your dog isn’t a fan of a (well-behaved) puppy, we may not be the best fit right now.
A typical day
We have access to multiple open space trails nearby and I’ll make sure your pup gets adequate exercise, rest, and snuggles! Happy to go at whatever pace and mileage best suits your furry family member.

I’ve had dogs for 15 years, and loved, trained, and raised them from puppy age until the very end. I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs for seven years. I have experience in senior dog care and know how important it is to go at their pace, on their time.

Laurissa is one of the most loving and responsible people I know! She has so much compassion and patience, I have a spicy senior and Laurissa not only meets her where she's at but treats her in a way that I know my baby girl is safe. I always know my home and pets are in great hands with Laurissa as she is very attentive, responsive and communicative, and FUN! Some people just have that gentle easiness with animals naturally, and Laurissa is one of those gems! 10/10 would recommend every time I need someone to walk my dog or someone to check on my kitties!
Laurissa was absolutely wonderful with our three dogs! From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals, and our dogs quickly grew to love her. She was incredibly responsible and attentive, making sure each dog received the correct medication and proper meals every day. We especially appreciated the daily walks, the love and attention she gave them, and the regular updates she sent while we were away. Knowing our dogs were happy, safe, and well cared for gave us complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, and will treat your pets like family, I highly recommend Laurissa. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch our dogs again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have known Laurissa for years and she has always had the utmost respect and love for animals. She has such a connection and as soon as she sees a dog anywhere she will be the first one signed up for loves. That being said, Laurissa has helped us care for our pets and spoiled them while we are away many times over the years. I promise you your pet will get more loves and cuddles from her than any other pet sitter. Not only that she makes sure to walk your pet and has even taken the time to walk my dogs separately as they are in very different stages in life. She is responsible, reliable and the right person for the job. I cant recommend her enough.
