I’m a caring and reliable dog owner with around 3 years of experience looking after dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I’m always happy to adapt to make them feel comfortable and at home. I can provide plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day, and I won’t leave your dog alone. I enjoy daily walks, and we have fields and woodland close to our home, as well as plenty of opportunities for playtime and cuddles. At the same time, I’m happy to respect dogs who prefer a quieter and more relaxed environment. I can follow individual feeding, walking and medication routines where needed. My home is a relaxed and caring environment where your dog can feel safe, comfortable and treated as part of the family.

Schedule
I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day and can provide regular company, attention and supervision, rather than leaving dogs alone for long periods. I usually start the day with a walk in the fields close to our home, followed by time at home for relaxing, play and cuddles throughout the morning. I normally go for another walk during my lunch break and then another one after 5pm, but I can also fit in additional walks or toilet breaks throughout the day depending on each dog’s usual routine and needs. I’m happy to adapt my routine to match your dog’s normal schedule so they can settle in quickly and feel comfortable while staying with me.

Safety, trust & environment
My priority is always to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while staying in my home. I keep a calm and clean environment and make sure doors, gates and the garden are secure at all times. I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, routines and any specific needs. I also like to understand a dog’s personality and habits before their stay, including anything they may be nervous around or any behaviours I should be aware of. I’m happy to keep owners updated during their dog’s stay with messages and photos, so they can have peace of mind knowing their dog is happy and settled. I also have my own dog, Bailey (Cavalier King Charles), so I would always make sure any new dog is comfortable around him. For me, trust is really important, and I want both the dog and their owner to feel completely comfortable while they are in my care.
