I have one super, amazing, friendly pup that is well cared for daily just as your pet(s) will be! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I am lucky to have a fully remote (work from home) position. So I am able to provide lots of attention and potty breaks! My husband and my two sons, who are undergraduate college students, love to help with the animals when they are home as well. My amazing family excitedly assists with potty breaks, playtime, snuggling, walks, etc.

My home has a fenced in yard for off leash playtime and miles of wooded trails right in my backyard for long, safe leashed walks. We also have a toy basket full of fun things to enrich your pet during their stay with me. Your dog will NEVER be left outdoors unattended, even with the fenced in yard. We will have a long chat before your pet stays with me to discuss their personal need and if they are a digger, fence jumper, escape artist, etc. incase above and beyond safely methods (like keeping a leash on them in the fenced in yard) are needed. We will likely do this at a meet and greet at my home before your fur babies first stay, allowing us to introduce your pup(s) with mine and allow you the chance in advance to see where they will be vacationing while you are away.

All dogs MUST be dog friendly as I have a pup of my own and occasionally have pups from multiple families at the same time. We will spend some time talking about your pet before their first stay so they are sure to get the individual care they deserve. If boarding a cat(s), it will be kept separated from dogs in my home, which I have done so for many boarders and fosters.

I have a fenced in area in my yard where your dog can run free and play fetch with me. I also have miles of trails right in my backyard for nice long, safe and peaceful walks in the woods. We have lots of dog toys to share too! At the end of the day, it's always great to snuggle on the couch together and watch a movie.

If you’re heading off on vacation, your pet deserves one too — and that’s exactly the experience I provide! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s spent over 20 years caring for all kinds of creatures, from dogs, cats, farm animals, to even the more unusual exotics species. Along with caring for my own pets, I’ve dedicated my time and resources to helping animals in need through volunteer work. I have a degree in Animal Science and lots of hands-on experience with animal behavior — especially helping pets who struggle with things like separation anxiety or need a little extra care. I’m comfortable working with pets of all ages and health conditions. Whether your pet is young, senior, or has special needs, I’ll ensure they receive the individualized care and attention they deserve. I’m also fully trained to safely give all medications/treatments as needed. You’ll get daily updates (because let’s be honest — we all miss our pets when we’re away!), and I’ll always be upfront about how things are going as I pride myself on transparency and trust. Oh — and I’m now offering bathing services too! This includes a bath, blow dry, full brush-out, ear cleaning, and nail trim — perfect for sending your pet home clean, happy, and camera-ready. ✨

Laurie provided outstanding care to our little guy while we were away . The caring , compassion and attention was the best! Brewster came down with a medical issue right before we were leaving for our trip and Laurie had no issue taking care of him with his medical concern!!! The best sitter. Will be trusting her again in the future for our dog’s care .
Thanks, Laurie, for watching Ozzie during my husband's surgery and/or recovery. Knowing that Ozzie was with someone responsible, kind, and trustworthy was really a huge help.
