I grew up in a household with 3 high energy golden retrievers and have been surrounded by dogs since. I am an experienced house & dog sitter for family, friends, neighbors, and community members. I like to run/walk dogs and am comfortable administering medications.

I love going on walks/runs and park visits with the dogs I'm sitting to make sure they get enough exercise + fresh air if I have to go into work or have to run an errand while dogsitting. I have references available upon request and would be happy to meet with you in a public space for a vibe-check!

Laurie gave us good communication throughout the booking, and left the house in great condition. Her services provided a wonderful sense of comfort and care knowing that our pets were well looked after.
Laurie was absolutely incredible with our high energy 1.5 year old pup! She watched our dog when we went on vacation. She was communicative and sent us tons of pictures! Our dog can be a lot of work so it was a relief when Laurie could handle him and do it with grace. We also have a cat that she was so sweet to! We can’t thank her enough and will absolutely use her again. We recommend her for other families!!

Laurie was so kind and understanding of my hesitation to let someone else take my dog out of my hands. Olive had a lovely walk, came back nice and tuckered out so that I could continue my work day without worrying about her being bored. We will absolutely be rebooking with Laurie and I’m so glad that this was our first experience with Rover! Can’t recommend enough. ?
Laurie is a very caring and social person, especially when it comes to animals. She's always lived with dogs and will constantly stop to pet any lucky dog that is walking past her. She's always making sure her dogs, or any she's watching, are getting plenty of exercise throughout the day, along with making sure they're never cooped up indoors for too long of periods.
My dogs adore when Laurie is around!! I’m so thankful that Laurie has the patience and energy to handle my tiny- high energy pup, as well as my crazy and slightly territorial big dog. She’s reliable, friendly, and has great communication. My pups look forward to seeing her again!

Schedule
I am a part-time yoga teacher and RPCV with a flexible schedule. I am available for early morning, mid-day and evening walks/runs if preferred and am able to do drop-ins with advance notice.
