Pet care experience
Hi my name is Laurie and growing up with dogs was just the start. As a dog owner for the past 25 years I’ve had puppies to seniors and frenchies to dobermans. Having mostly rescue dogs in my life has made me conscious of animals as individuals. Not every dog is happy-go-lucky, and I’m very understanding of dogs that are a little more anxious, and provide them with a calm presence while their owners are away.

We were going to be away for more than 3 days for the first time and our main concern was "Who is going to take care of our babies?" Then an angel appeared and said "I can help you guys, please enjoy your trip with no worries", this angel has a name: Laurie! She was reliable, committed and took care of our 2 cats as their were her own. Sure we'll ask her help again!
Laurie was great; she arrived eager to care for Jack! She sent pictures which allowed me to enjoy my vacation. Jack was just like his usual self upon our return. Our friends saw Laurie walking Jack and even they commented on how relaxed he was with her. Thanks Laurie!
Laurie is very gentle and patient, when it comes to your beloved family members Laurie will provide them with the best care. Being around her calm easy going nature I’m sure your pet will be much more comfortable even while you’re away on vacation! Highly recommend Laurie for any of your pet needs.
Laurie, accompanied by her equally enamoured of all fur babies, Son, Adam, has taken such good care of our aging cats over the years. Special care has been provided by them for one of our fur babies requiring 2 insulin injections per day… they have together, provided, loving, caring, gentle attention in our absences . We have been able to leave knowing not only are our animals getting all the love and attention we wish upon them but also that our home has been treated very respectfully in our absence. We would highly recommend that anyone would be very lucky to have them care for their loved pets and could do so in complete confidence and be fully at ease while away from home.

I always like to know if your dog is ok around other dogs when out for a walk or if he/she is anxious around cars, bikes, people etc. I try to make walks and play time a fun stress free time especially knowing that they're missing their family.
A typical day
I'll take your dog(s) for walks in your neighbourhood and (or) play in the yard, whatever fun stuff they like to do. Dog hair doesn't scare me so cuddles are always welcome!

Availability
I’m currently working very part-time and only need to be away from your pet for a couple of hours each day during the week. My schedule on weekends is very flexible and leaves lots of time for play and walks.
